I am, a final-year PhD student in the Department of Earth Sciences at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur.

My research focuses on paleomagnetism, rock magnetism, and impact cratering, with special emphasis on the rock magnetic and paleomagnetic characterization of impactites and target rocks from the Dhala impact structure, India. This work helps in understanding the magnetic signatures of impact processes and their implications for planetary magnetism. I combine field-based geological investigations, laboratory instrumentation, and data analysis to explore how magnetic minerals record planetary evolution.
